Few Words About Us
Originally known as SledRush in 2012, snowmobiling was the main focus of the brand. The CEO, Brandon Halbgewachs, was living in Northern Saskatchewan living out his passion of playing hockey for the La Ronge Ice Wolves and getting to ride his snowmobile almost every day. Using the, new at the time, GoPro to create a unique perspective of photography, partnered up with Instagram, he began to gain a following where people began reaching out asking about the photo’s, wanting to submit their own, and before he knew it, a recognized name was born.
In 2017 he decided to change the name from SledRush to Ignite Powersports, in order to incorporate a broader spectrum than just snowmobiling. Ignite Powersports still mainly focuses on snowmobiling, but also incorporates all powersports, from UTV’s to ATV’s, Dirt Bikes to Seadoos, etc.
As of now, Ignite Powersports is a small business dedicated to promoting talented powersport riders to the general public. Brandon has brought on his good friend Morgan Gallais as a partner, and they designed their own custom Pull Handle Line, and also offer a variety of Apparel. As Ignite continues to grow, they hope to develop more parts and make their online store a one stop shop!
